The Bloodhound Club Kelperland Trophy Stake

The best of the year's Senior working hounds are invited to compete for the Kelperland Trophy.  The Stake is open to all Working Trial Champion bloodhounds and the present holder of the Kelperland and Millvery Trophies.

Eligibility in each year is determined by the hounds winning the 1st or 2nd prize in the Senior Stake at Championship Trials for Bloodhounds held by the Bloodhound Club (BC) and the Association of Bloodhound Breeders (ABB).

Kelperland Trophy Stake 2011

The Bloodhound Club's Kelperland Trophy Stake for winners in 2011 was
held on Sunday 20th November, near Lewdown, Devon.
New-comer Taylor'sRache Contessa challenged the stalwart  
Robertson's WTCh. Trailfinder Endearing by Floralis (Bouquet).
However neither satisfied the judge, Suzanne Emrys-Jones, that the Trophy was warranted. 
Sue awarded Certificates of Merits to both hounds, sealing their qualification for the Millvery Trophy Stake
 
 

Kelperland Trophy Stake 2010

 
The last Bloodhound Club event of 2010 was the Kelperland Trophy Stake
held on Sunday 28th November, near Cranmore, Somerset.
Robertson's WTCh. Trailfinder Endearing by Floralis (Bouquet).
won the Kelperland Trophy Stake for an unprecedented third time,
having won in 2009 at Sutton Scotney, Hampshire, judged by Christine Green,
and 2007 judged by Peter Brown at St. Leonards, Buckinghamshire.
